My first duty as the Alpha of this pack was to keep it safe and then...then they came. Those blasted beasts from whatever hells they crawled out from. Kinfolk they called themselves. What idiot calls themselves a 'kinfolk'? They whispered sweet nothings into my ears, trying to convince me that they wanted things to return to normal, to have the disasters which wrecked havoc on my territory, cease. But their sweet nothings were just that; nothing. They encouraged us to attack the others that had seemingly joined them. Independents were a weird bunch, neither agreeing nor disagreeing with the Kinfolk. Some apposed them. Some despised them. And then I met them. The Merged. They spoke of things that simply made sense. Several just wanted to be left alone. I can relate. Some just wanted food. Others just wanted us to kick the Kinfolk in the literal arse. No problem. I'll do so, so long as they leave my pack alone.

My name is Pharaoh Ankh. I took over this pack during a time that should of been joyous. It's previous leaders were tired, wanting to rest and so they summoned me. Perhaps my summoning was the catalyst to these events. But no one blames me, funnily enough. The first of my kind. Unique. With powers unknown. Born with glowing flames licking about my tail, paws, chest and head. My very breath a reminder of where I used to live, though no one knows it's name. Not even I know it's name and I was born there!

Alas, these events happen during a time when I sought to reclaim our range. Oh well. Such is life. I eagerly await my mate. My chosen one. Where is she? I keep seeking, searching, trying to find her, but ever she evades me. Like a vixen she is. I often hear her laughter. Oh she knows how to stir the soul this one. Once I find her, this pack will know greatness once again. Perhaps, with her help, we can end these cataclysms. Or. Perhaps, we shall see them continue to further our own means and agendas. These disasters have continued but I can feel her! She's so, so very close! My beloved Queen. The very ground has been shaking nonstop, as if it's fighting to get her out of it's very bowels. I'm left astounded by my Queen's unwillingness to just come to me but it's her stubbornness that will make her a worthy Queen. Long have I awaited her arrival and I have been patient. I can wait a little bit longer. Just a bit longer my Queen and then, then we shall be reunited!
