Panda had been out on hunting for her pack when suddenly, she heard the distressed howl of her Alpha. She quickly rushed towards the source of the sound, and was met with her Alpha, Storm, covered in blood, and a dead badger lying near her. She frantically checked her leader's wounds and tried to heal them, but without proper knowledge of herbalism, she couldn't heal her. She frantically started searching for herbs, cobwebs, moss, anything that could help her leader, but when she got back empty-pawed, it was too late. Her leader was lying down, with no visible breathing, and the dead badger was gone. She glanced down at her paws and realized there was blood all over them, before she rushed to her leader's side and mourned. She didn't realize how much time had passed, and she heard a faint rustling in the distance. She got up from her leader's side, and, a moment later, saw the form of Strike and Fizzle, her packmates. When they saw her bloodstained pelt, and Storm's body behind her, their eyes flashed with disbelief, confusion, and rage. They started snarling at her, and she widened her eyes in confusion.
"Why are you guys being so hostile!? Our leader is dead; this is no time for anger!" Panda exclaimed.
"Because you're a traitor" Fizzle snarled, her words cutting deep into Panda's heart.
"W-What!? I would never hurt Storm!" Panda said, although she knew she was in an extremely bad situation.
"You know what happens to traitors" Strike growled.
"They have to leave, forever" Fizzle finished for him.
"B-But I'm not a traitor!" She exclaimed, her red eyes glowing like tiny rubies in the moonlight.
"Get out of here, before we make you" Strike snarled. Tears streaming down her face, she turned around and fled into the forest, never seen by her pack again.
About a month later, Panda saw something in the distance. She saw a smoke-colored she-wolf with blue essence swirling around her. Panda's curiosity took hold of her, and she crept closer, trying to stay out of sight, but to no avail. The she-wolf's head snapped around in the direction of Panda, and she began to walk towards her, a soft smile on her face.
"Hello, young wolf, what are you doing on my territory?" The she-wolf asked kindly, and Panda felt that she meant no harm.
"I'm Panda.."
"Nice to meet you, Panda, I'm SmokeStar, the leader of LunaClan"
"Hi, SmokeStar... I'm sorry I'm on your territory, I didn't know..." Panda trailed off, unsure if SmokeStar would mind her being here.
"It's quite alright," She said kindly.
"Say.. why are you here, anyways?"SmokeStar asked.
"Oh.. umm... I was exiled from my clan..." Panda murmured sadly. As Panda spoke, SmokeStar's eyes widened in surprise.
"I was exiled from my clan too.." She murmured quietly.
"Really?" Panda asked disbelievingly.
"Yeah... do you have anywhere to stay?"
"No... I miss being in a pack.. I'm lonely.." Panda said sadly.
"Why don't you join my pack?" SmokeStar invited.
"Will you let me..?" Panda asked timidly.
"Of course!" SmokeStar exclaimed.
"Yes, please!" She said happily.
"How do you like the name... Panda's Tail? Everyone in our clan has that type of name."
"Panda's Tail... I like that name!" She said thoughtfully.
"Alright, Panda's Tail, welcome to LunaClan!"
