Shrewfoot: shrew referring to the common shrew, a small brown rodent, and foot being self-explanatory, a suffix used for agile wolves that can run fast and for long periods of time.
Physical description
Shrewfoot is a smaller than average male wolf with brown fur and markings. His legs are toned from running.
Psychological description
Shrewfoot is socially awkward, but not due to shyness: whether due to nature or nurture, he seemingly cares very little for his fellow Guardians. He is cold, but not rude, and will help other members in need, but between spending time with them and being alone in the woods, he'd rather be alone. Shrewfoot is very introspective, and he often finds himself ruminating while scouting new locations. He takes promises and oaths very seriously.
He has a strange, absurdist sense of humor that he only reveals to Crowtail, who he is closest to; as in, he isn't actively bothered by partaking in small talk with her. The two share something akin to a friendship.
Background and current situation
He was a lone wolf found by Badgerstar. The two would talk at length whenever they met, and Shrewfoot would occasionally visit the fallen star site. One day, he did not leave, and took the vow to become a Green Guardian: a decision that caused him some inner turmoil, as it was a vow he did not fully mean. He looks at the stars often, and hopes one day they will mean something to him; perhaps something different from Badgerstar, but something.
Due to a mix of his strained relationship with Owlheart (his fellow scout and superior) and his own personal beliefs, he doesn't hold Guardian philosophy in particularly high regard. Shrewfoot thinks the Ancestors have forsaken him, and likewise believes Badgerstar deluded. His and Owlheart's strange customs ring mostly hollow to him. However, the naming conventions are interesting to him. He finds them practical and useful, a view he shares with Crowtail.
