Keneil is friendly and astute. Originally envisaged to replace his Great Grandmother, Faisa, a fallen scout. Keneil pleaded with Amon to stay within pack borders and after his continuous nagging, they settled on a compromise.
Keneil is afraid of leaving the campgrounds after the incident with Faisa, but is great at hiding his trauma from fellow pack members.

Although Keneil is known for loafing about, he makes sure to perform his duties as a liaison well. However his older sister, Philoméne, can't help but nag him for his laziness.

"Why don't you come with me and explore? How can you sit around all day doing nothing?"
"I don't do nothing." Keneil smirks, "I made a deal with Uncle Amon. I get to bask in the sun and he gets a liaison."

Keneil lost his job as a liaison when Håkon became Pack Leader. He definitely wasn't in favor of it, but naturally there were no other choices as Håkon was Amon's only son. And Amon loved his son dearly. No matter how selfish and headstrong he could be. Keneil knows of Håkon's callousness. How even as a puppy he was ruthless. Stepping on the others so he could get his fill first, tearing at the tufts of his sibling's tails when they beckoned him to play (Håkon didn't relent when they struggled and cried; you'd have to rip him off of his victims), and how he chewed on the beaks of the beautiful songbirds before his attention was diverted elsewhere and let them go. In Keneil's opinion, Håkon's behavior was nothing short of psychotic.
Keneil openly expresses his detestation of his cousin through snide comments and sneers, but Håkon only spares him a cold glance before continuing on.
