Asking around whilst roaming the land, she heard of a valley where the cold mountain streams pool to form a mire. She made her way there, amazed by the strange plants and creatures, the dense peat moss and water that stood between it, everything... Roaming, she nearly got stuck as the treacherous ground gave way, but was quickly pulled out by a strange wolf with glowing eyes. Her name was Thorhalla, and she claimed she had forseen her arrival, introducing herself as a seer. Thorhalla walked her back to the pack, meanwhile teaching her of the land. Once at the pack, she rested and feasted with the welcoming wolves, before being guided away in the night by the Alpha. Apparently, those seen by the seers are bound to find a travel companion; a raven. A strange forest at the foot of the mountains was filled with the black, ominous birds. Skylar wasn't scared, however, and looked around before her gaze fell on a small and humble bird. She sensed a connection, as did the raven, who flew up to land on her back. For all journeys to come, she would never have to travel alone.
