After joining Moonlight and fathering her pups, he tested his boundaries with her and eventually pushed her to her limit. She punished him by changing his role to pupsitter. He'd much rather be out hunting or scouting. Eventually though he turned out to like it, but it didn't stop his sharp tongue, but the rest of the pack has just learnt to deal with it. He often teases Sunrise about being the one to father Moonlight's pups. It's a constant fight between the two. They used to be close, until a game for the queens attention turned into a competition, one that he won and teased Sunrise, and when Sunrise got angry so did he, and a drift began to form in their friendship.
