Rebel was born to a pair of wolves who roamed the forest outside of town. He was the runt of the litter, and was always a little bit behind his siblings in terms of size and strength. But what he lacked in physical prowess, he made up for in cunning and quickness. He was the first to figure out how to jump the fence into the farmer's field, and the first to snag a fish out of the stream.
As he grew older, Rebel became more and more aloof, preferring to stick to the edges of the pack and watch from afar. He was content to let others take the lead, and was happy to lend a helping hand when needed, but he never really craved the spotlight.
When the pack started to split into smaller groups to better hunting grounds, Rebel found himself gravitating towards the scouting party. He was the perfect wolf for the job - quick, silent, and able to find his way back to camp no matter how far he roamed.
He's been with the scouting party for several years now, and has earned a reputation as a reliable and steady wolf. He's not one for taking risks, but he's always the first to spot potential danger. And his packmates know that they can always count on him to get them safely back home.
