As the daughter of Straumur, Àslaug is aware of the many expectations from her pack mates. At times, this young wolf will wander off to escape the many duties of a yearling. She is torn between her loyalty to her family and the smell of adventure.
Blue was just visiting Straumur for a bit, catching up on what had passed since they'd last spoken, when a wolf maybe a smidge younger than herself came running up.
"Blue!" Àslaug called. She'd met Straumur's daughter in passing, but theyd never spoken before. "You're going back soon right?"
"... I was planning on heading home to my pack soon, yes. Why?" Blue tilted her head in question, noticing Straumur tensing up beside her.
"Take me with you!" A pause, followed by lowered ears and tail. "Please?"
Before Blue could respond, Straumur was already speaking. "Are you sure about this Àslaug?"
"More sure than I've been about anything," she says with her eyes bright and full of youthful wonder. "I want to see the world, and that means leaving these borders."
Straumur looked torn between letting his daughter follow her dreams and potentially losing her forever. Blue looked back and forth between the two and knew what was to be done.
"You can come." They both snapped their attention over to Blue. "She'll be safe with me, Straumur. And if she ever wants to go home, or if you want to see her..."
Blue stood up and smiled. "You know where to find me."
