Maria travelled through the mountains with hast, following an old white wolf. This wolf was a scout, or an "Adventurer," as he was called in her new host pack the Jotunheim Outcasts. Her birth pack had agreed that the Jotunheim Outcasts were a good pack for her to start her journey as a Travelling Wolf. She would train as a Finisher until she was an adult, and then move onto a new pack. Maria's time with her host pack was short, but she did make a friend, Kelpi. Kelpi was the daughter of an older Chaser female wolf named Thinhellë and would talk non-stop about her ideas for improving life in the pack. Despite all the talking, Kelpi was interesting yet still tolerable. Maria would not consider herself a very friendly wolf, but she did enjoy the few months she spent with Kelpi. She hoped to meet the she-wolf again some day soon.

As Maria wandered throughout the forest, she came across a male wolf by the name of Phoenix. They talked for a little bit, before he brought her back to his pack. Maria met another traveling wolf, by the name of Rapthalia, and consulted with her about their latest travels. The Alpha, Antler, welcomed Maria with warming paws, and made sure she was fed and happy. Maria bonded quite well with Sheena, and Alia.

Maria padded through the unknown territory before crouching down. A weasel was in front of her, carrying a carcass in its jaws. She lunged forward but, something crashed into her, causing the weasel to scurry away. "Hey! That was mine!" The strange wolf snapped as they stood up, shaking their fur. Maria's eyes glued on to the wolf in amazement. They were quite handsome. "I'm sorry! Erm...?" Maria raised up her paws, sitting up. "Heron`thorn." The male wolf barked, watching Maria with interest. "It's nice to meet you, Heron`thorn..."
A few months have passed. I had pups of my own with Heron`thorn. But they all died in a flood that caused the pack to move to another forest. I decided to move later that month. I said my goodbyes and left. I may have loved Heron`thorn, but we weren't meant to be.
