When Avie was a puppy, and lived in a different pack, he was known as a runt. He wasn't a fast runner, he wasn't strong either and he had trouble paying attention during lessons. Because of all of this Avie was chased out as an adolescent, far, far, far away from his original pack. That's when a mother fox stumbled upon him. She took him in as one of her own, teaching him how to survive out in the wild better than any wolf in his previous pack could have.
When the fox's kits grew up, she became lonely. But Avie stayed with her, protecting her from danger she couldn't defend herself from. After a few months of hearing about a wolf on her territory, Elva discovered Avie and when she heard his story she invited him into her pack! Avie was very hesitant as he hadn't wanted to leave his fox mom and be mistreated again. Yet Elva had convinced him since she promised he could visit the fox every new moon.
Now Avie thrives in Elva's pack, he often entertains the puppies when he isn't busy hunting with Shiba or training an adolescent.
