Bones

Bones never had it easy. As a pup, he was left for dead because of his striking appearance and when another pack had taken him in, he felt like he had found his new forever home. This all ended when he got his leg stick inside a bear trap. His pack gnawed, clawed, and chewed on the cold steel wrapped around the pup's leg but nothing had worked. As the poor pup started getting weaker, the pack started giving up home, eventually leaving him helpless in the middle of the woods.
After what seemed like years of agony, human hunters found him, disarmed the trap, then took him to a rehabilitation facility where everything smelled like metal and the white lights were blinding. The food was dry and crunchy with no source of real food in sight. The humans cared for him until his leg proved to be okay and let him return to the forests with three other wolves.
Bones could finally be part of a pack. One that could be started with the three of them - until they were picked off one by one. The eldest was hunted and put in the back of a truck. That left two of them.
A cruel winter took a second, leaving only Bones and the third wolf. But Bones was being chased by something that sounded like a pack of coyotes and when he came out, all that was left was the blood of his counterpart.
All hope was lost and for the rest of his time as an adolescent, all he caught were the critters that fell right into his paws. Until a night where he heard the sound of a wolf - a female wolf. He raced through the forest to meet up with her and instantly bonded with her, creating their children, Lynx and Wolverine.
He looked at his bundles of joy and decided to create a pack - the Milk Bone Pack, where he now takes everyone in, no matter the background, because he knows what it's like to be cast out.
