Laughter...yelling...screaming...insults...from the moment she was born into the pack, those were the first words she heard from the other pack members.
Born and raised in the medium-sized Autumn Oak Pack, she has never once felt welcomed by her own pack members. She was seen as a disgrace and disappointment, as she was born from an affair committed by the Alpha, her father. Alone and frightened as a pup, trying to make friends, searching for affection, or someone to tell her kind words, it was to no avail.
Pups were ushered away from her, adolescents picked on her for fun and adults pretended that she didn't exist. As a pup, she never understood why others treated her the way they did, after all, what did she do wrong? All she could do then was watch from the shadows, from a pup to an adolescent and now, finally an adult.
She had waited for the day to come when she wouldn't be treated as a pup anymore, as she was now a full-fledged adult. Taking charge of her life, without caring for what others had to say to her, because, what else could they say that they haven't already said?
Laughter...there it was again, how badly she had wanted to escape, somewhere, anywhere. Anger, hatred, sadness, all of it hit her like a herd of bison on the run. They were laughing at her pups, how they had turned out. She loved them so, no matter what others say about them, they were hers after all.
"Ignore them, they're just jealous, I think they're adorable!" A sweet voice, a kind voice. Was she hallucinating? Looking up, a plain wolf was beside her, a little worn, but wearing a tired smile. Brassity stood up, giving a weak grin, "You think so?"
Nodding, the wolf gestures for her to lay down. 'Could this be a start of a friendship I've always wanted?' she thought, as they chatted and enjoyed each other's company till the sun set and the moon rose.[1:20 PM]
