She was small, barely bigger than an overgrown rat, when Bael (the resident healer of the clan) had found her tucked beneath the roots of an ancient oak, that stood in the center of a clearing. He almost wouldn't have noticed her , if it hadn't been for the crying barely discernible over the sounds of the forest. It was very obvious that she has been abandoned, all traces of her mother long since having faded away. As he bowed down to pick her up, he felt a shudder coming from the ground, almost as of the forest was holding its breath. He flinched but didn't stop. Her crying had stopped almost completely except for a few whimpers that seemed to escape her every time he jostled her as he moved. He stepped from the clearing and only then noticed that the forest around him had grown completely silent. With one last worried look he turned around and headed home and slowly as he walked further away from the clearing, the life started to return to the forest.

The pack wasn't all to happy to have another mouth to feed. It had been a difficult winter and the resources scarce, but they welcomed the new addition nonetheless. She was placed in the care of Aelfrun and with that everything seemed to settle again.

It very soon became apparent that there was something peculiar about her, but no one could quite pout their paw on it. As the time passed the wolves started to notice a series of strange occurrences that always seemed to follow around. Birds would stopped singing when they saw her and the prey would all but disappear when she tried to join the hunting parties. The pack started to shun her slightly. After all a wolf who couldn't hunt was a burden and they had tried to find other duties for her, but nothing seemed to quite stick.

Sick of the weird glances, the wispers and the questions of her birth and biological family she snuck away during the night, with only a small bag and a necklace, to search for answers.

Lore: When Eoin discovered the portal, she was quite confused. It was beautiful and blue and mysterious. Not long after she found it, a red wolf came up and stood beside her. She spooked when the wolf spoke, saying that is was beautiful, wasn't it? Eoin agreed, wary of the stranger, though she didn't seem to want to harm Eoin. Eoin introduced herself and the other wolf did too. Her name was Queen Henki and she was leader of Selene's Shadow. The queen offered Eoin a tour of the world on the other side of the portal and Eoin quickly agreed. Maybe there could be answers there?
