Anubis' Background
Anubis was the name that was given by the Wolva'lor but with a reason. He was trained to be the best warrior, the best Wolva'lorian but the deed he did backfired his future as a warrior. Now, he was looked down as an outcast. Somewolf to play with but even the packwolf has no desire for their pups to play with him. He was a lonely wolf, but he kept himself together to keep going. He then decided to travel to see if he can make a difference. While traveling, he sometimes wished he understands why he was treated unfairly or like an outcast. He has purposely wandered during the strange event of Cogireach in hopes of the wisps to guide him to something greater or to his desire. Only thing he has gain was nothing. He lost his eyes to the creature he could not identify. His wisps-like eye was what it left behind as a gift. He could see but only in an energy form, in a way you could see where the energy flows towards or from, including the lifeform.
The said deed he has done was he harmed another packwolf within Blackmane Pack, especially it was towards Wolva'lor's mate. This made him the outcast due to this event.
He is sometimes full of ego and can be dishonest to the Leader of the pack. He has often made others to do his bidding, even he is not in charge. He strongly dislikes pups but he wouldn't go as far as harming one another but he has out of despite. He hasn't told anyone about his eyes as he hates talking about it.
The beast was the one who has taken his eyes and gifted him the wisp eyes in hopes of him balance himself out. But it failed as he just ran away just as he received the gift from the beast. So, the beast follows him around as he knows Anubis cannot see the beast but he can hear the beast and smell the beast. Anubis can feel the stare from the beast and he hates it. Anubis knows the beast will never go away unless there is a reason why. The beast won't tell him. Yet.
The Pack of a Willow Tree
Anubis' first destination happened to be The Pack of a Willow Tree, a lesser known pack led by a wolf going by the name of Woodland. Woodland's small stature was one that was questioned by the newcomer, but it was quickly noted to Anubis that the pack leader's small stance was not to be tested. After the introductions were out of the way, Woodland guided Anubis to the territory of the pack, signalling with his nose which den the traveler would be staying in for as long as he pleased.
The Pack of a Willow Tree is a odd change compared to the Wolva'lor, as in this pack there are no strict aspects. Wolves choose their role and are assessed to see if they perform well enough to take it on, and if not, they are often trained for it to enhance their chances of succeeding the next test. Size and physical attributes didn't dictate every single thing in the pack, too, previously demonstrated by Woodland. This wasn't entirely pleasing, especially with the sheer amount of pups running rampant, but the pack seemed like a lively, lighthearted area.
None of this changed Anubis' behavior, though. Why would it? This pack is just one of the many out in the lands, so why should it dictate a change this early?
