Biography
Her new home was strange, yet the pup found herself... happy. The colors and new famils she met (even though it was much larger than her wildest dreams) took her in almost immediately.
Like all pups she met with the Mother, the former herbalist from long ago smiling sweetly down at the small child. "Chanda, a sweet child. We here at the Village wish for new lives from those we take in. Do you wish to follow our custom of a new name?"
"Y-yes ma'am!"
A soft laugh escaped the immortal as she bent to touch her nose to the pup's head. "A name for one who shines like a pearl... Alastríona. A name put to the female side, yet it is from a name of many kings. You my dear, are a queen in your own right."
The pup left with a brighter smile and fire in her gaze, her family howling in joy. Her new life was to begin, and even though the pain from leaving her mother and former pack was there...
She now could be reborn anew. A queen in her own true right.
