Born on Monday October 24, 2022
During the lesson: Vixen explained to Slate how wet fur is not a good idea, especially in the winter. She demonstrated how to find rocks and dry patches to cross a creek or a river instead of swimming across it.
During the lesson: Slate concentrated on the bumblebee hovering above a large, white flower. Nothing else existed in this very special moment, and Smolder couldn't help but watch in approval.
During the lesson: Slate didn't have much luck at first, but soon she started to associate types of nesting materials with types of birds. Each time they appeared sooner than before.
During the lesson: Slate sniffed the ground, focused on the task. There were so many tempting scents around but Slate ignored them and quickly found a herb that was shown during the lesson and brought it to Marble.

Slate was exceptional. Her high stats, her pretty pelt, and those eyes.. oh, those eyes! Yet, she never felt like she belonged in her pack. Ever since she snuck into the traveller's den, her heart yearned for journey and adventure, and every night she dreamt of far-away forests, glaciers, and deserts. And so, when time came and she finally became an adolescent, she had asked her pack's alpha, Wither, to become a traveller. Although reluctant at first, the old she-wolf accepted the request, and Slate was set off on her first journey, excited to tread where no wolf has ever tread before.
