Unless you look deeper, there was nothing particularly remarkable about Mare.

Stubborn and independent, Mare is another loyal soldier to Alpine. She is quick on her paws and prefers agility over strength, dodging her opponent's blows until she finds an opening. Her words are sharp and calculated, finding weakness in any wolf's exterior. She spends most of her time in the training hollow, lecturing the younger wolves on their combat skills.

With a dull coat, it's easy for Mare to camouflage against the tree bark on patrol, a difficult find for any intruders. She was always teased for her fur growing up, how bland it was, but now she has seized it to her advantage.

Stern but with a soft spot, Mare is one of the best instructors for the training puppies.
