Royal walked into a large open area, wolves of all ages and ranks were gathered around. He padded over to where his family sat, sitting next to his mate and young daughter. He looked around as he waited for the leader. The pupsitters sat with the pack's young in the back, the hunters were chatting with one and other in the middle and the adolescents were with who ever trained them that day. Royal poked his mate with a claw and once he got her attention he pointed to a pup who snuck over to where their daughter was. "Primrose, should we take her back to the pupsitters?" He asked, ignoring the smiles the two pups had. "No, no we will not. Golden Snitch never gets to be a pup with the constant training." His mate replied turning back to look forward.
The room went silent as three wolves stepped on to a large rock in the front of the room. The queen and the queen's loyal mate along with a hunter, the hunter had been loyal to the pack since the very beginning. "Hello everyone of SunIce!" The queen spoke, stepping to the very edge of the rock. Everyone stood up, looking up at the leader. "Today is the day we choose the heirs." The queen's mate stepped up next to her as she announces the naming of the heirs. Royal started to shake, he couldn't wait to find out who the heir was. "Royal!" The two she wolves howled. "Golden Snitch!" They howled again, looking over to where Royal and his daughter stood. The entire cave started to fill with howls from all wolves, young and old.
