Run Rabbit Run
"Come on Solas!"
Furze had always been faster then their sibling, it had been something she always bragged about, but right now she wanted nothing more than for Solas Lae to be able to keep up with her. The noises behind them seemed to be growing louder the farther they ran away. The two puppies had no idea where they were going, all they knew was that they couldn't stop, not now.
"I'm trying!" Solas's cried out. Their voice came out in more of a whimper then a shout. Solas had always been the more level headed twin, so to hear them in so much panic sent shivers up Furze's already terrified spine.

It had happened so fast. One minute Furze had been chasing beetles in the grass next to the den, the next her sibling was pushing them towards the forest with panic in their eyes. Furze had no idea what was going on, there was no panic throughout the rest of the wolves, nothing seemed off, but Furze knew not to second guess her sibling. They had never been wrong about a gut feeling. And this was no different. Mere moments after the pups were out of view a thunderous cacophony sounded behind them. The sound of howls of pain drowned out by more thunder and roars. Furze tried to turn back, but Solas stopped her.
"There's nothing you can do!"

"THERE!" Furze shouted before she dove down the side of a bluff. Solas followed quickly behind as Furze charged headon into an old fox den. The sents had all run stale, it had been empty for a while, but it was just the perfect size for a pair of wolf puppies ot hide. The two of them sat pressed against each other, eyes wide and locked onto the entrance of the burrow. It was there that they would fall asleep against each other, exhausted from the distance they ran. They were completely oblivious to the leopard river that ran just a few dozen yards east of them, and the orange coated wolf who caught onto their trail.
