Lore: The world around me is gorgeous, yet boring. The same sparkling dew on the fresh green rainforest leaves are stunning at a glance, but ordinary to me who's lived my entire life in complete rain, humid air, and treecover. Sure, this place was better than the swamp where I was born, but one wish I have is to see the open sky and smell the fresh, warm prairie air. Maybe one day..but for now I have duties to fulfil to my pack.
My mother, Tarla, is a scout, which obviously puts me in her shadow. Sure, I'm always up for competition, but there's no denying that my mother is one of the most valued members. She and her partner, Tiva, are the only two wolves skilled enough to venture to faraway places and return without harm.
I know that if I were just allowed I could easily get better than her and her partner, but Nooo, Etenia, you have to help Aiya- "Agh, Etie, you're scattering the guaicaum petals everywhere...." Aiyana grumbles at me, interrupting my train of thought.
"No I'm not," I protest, despite the obvious purple petals littering the ground. The serene - looking herbalist gives me a look that says, Oh really? and goes to pick up the fallen pieces.
"Sorry, I'll use those first...," I apologize, starting to feel bad for the partially wasted flowers.
"I suppose that would be fine," Aiyana says, picking up her head to nuzzle me reassuringly. "Now, I know all you want to do it go off venturing places to go gallivanting about flirting with wolves and prancing into open skies, but you have to remember to keep up with the present as well."

Lore: After stumbling in the woods for days, Etenia finally stumbled right into the side of a handsome wolf called Acair. Amused, he made a joke before realising that she was in desperate need of a safe space to rest. He lead her to the Alpha of his pack, shielded in the swampy trees. Here she met Vi, an Alpha with an unsual reddish pelt. The two clicked, despite their natures they found they had a lot in common. Vi helped Etenia get settled in, and Acair brought her fresh kill he and his hunting party caught. Here she spoke to a couple of other travellers and stayed to get her strength back before she was ready to take her leave.

Lore: Etenia had barely arrived at the Court of Howls when she heard about a running competition going on. And it took her even less to decide to take part in it. Competitions were kinda her thing, so there was no way she would held back from entering. In the Court, there surely were some impressing wolves, but Etenia had faith in her own skills, and she knew she could do good, even if her speed was not that stellar.
Her confidence took a certain blow when she stood at the starting line with her opponent. Cin'ciri, that was her name, was clearly an elder, but she was part from the revered Alpha Batch, and it showed. Just watching at her toned muscles made Etenia doubt herself. But when the race started, Etenia put all of herself in it: there was no way she was going to lose against a geezer! To her defence, Cin'ciri tried not to be so crushingly superior, trotting beside Etenia like she was having just a refreshing walk; but then she sped up cutting the finishing line way ahead of Etenia.
Losing was not something Etenia enjoyed, but it sure build up her resolve to train a do better the next time.
