Shine

Shine was stolen from his birth pack before being abandoned in the forests as a young pup, He was raised by an elderly wolf, She had no pups of her own and loved him dearly. All they had known was travelling, and when she died of old age he was grief stricken, Eventually coming to the decision he would search out the pack he was born in, He buried her in a nice spot of wood near a lake so she could forever watch the fish.

• I would love to see him interacting and making relationships with other wolves
•He should not be in your pack for more than 4 Rollovers
•Feel free to breed him, he can stay in your pack until his pups are weaned. If you don't want any of the pups in the litter send them to Atlas (#87673)
•If you do breed him, mention the other parent and his pups in the lore section.
•If he ends up in the same pack as either of my other travelers Thunderbreeze or Fire I would love to hear about his interactions with them in the bio

Shine was wandering through the woods, the harsh rain and strong wind making his journey all the more difficult. Heavy monsoon rains slammed into him as he struggle to move forward. 'I need to find a place to rest' he thought wearily. He was out exploring the world, trying to find his birth pack from where he was stolen from as a young pup. All of a sudden, up a head he saw a silver head through the rain. The wolf it belonged to was staring right at him. "Hey!" The wolf called, or at least that's what Shine though she said. It was hard to tell over the sound of the wind and rain. The wolf approached closer to him, and before long stood right by him. "Hey what are you doing here?" The she-wolf questioned him. Shine looked towards her. She had two bags slung over her side, seemingly stuffed to the brim with odds and ends. "I'm-I'm Shine." He stuttered, a bit intimidated by her. "Im traveling, looking for my birth pack." The she-wolf looked him over. "Come on kid. You look like you're in rough shape. My name's Quartz, and I'm a traveler just like you. Im here visiting my home pack, I'll bring you along. The weather is pretty rough recently." They pushed their way through the roaring storm, and soon he found himself in a sheltered area of the woods. Quartz went off to talk to her leader. Once she returned, the exchanged stories about their travels and discoveries. Shine watched with great interest as she showed him some of the souvenirs she'd collected into her bags. Soon enough, they were becoming good friends, bonding over their various adventures. After a few days, Shine was sad to leave her, but he'd stayed here long enough. He needed to continue his search. Quartz nodded sadly, understanding in her eyes. She stopped him just before he left. "here." she slid over a silver bracelet. "It's from one of my journey's. I hope it brings you luck." He nodded and slipped on the bracelet, before padding through the trees onto his next stop.

Though they wouldn't tell him, Shine could tell that Pont-y-Rhedyn was going though tough times. He would never learn the extent of it however. Arriving in the valley on the cusp of winter, he was quickly welcomed into the pack and bundled into the elder's den. Their anxiety was apparent, but the elders were quick to put up a cheerful facade. Shine told them of his search, and they would spend many long evenings interrogating him on all he knew, trying to cross-reference it with neighbouring and allied packs for any possible matches. The stories they told were facinating, but ultimately they came up blank. With nothing to be gleamed about his birthpack and not wanting to put any further strain on the wolves here, Shine decided to move on.

Shine was a bit surprised at the low number of pups in the Court. From such a big pack, with that many females, he had expected a lot more younglings. And maybe he had hoped that someone would recognize him, finally unveiling the mystery of his origins. But clearly the Court of Howls was not the place he was born in; it didn't really felt like home.
So Shine ended up spending his stay entertaining Chandra, Tiada and Nimue, the only three pups of the pack, playing with them and telling them about his traveling adventures.

Lore: Shine was fascinated by the trees and creatures in the swamp when he finally arrived. Despite it being the dead of winter, and the lands encased in thick fog, he soon stumbled across a pack that lived beneath the gnarled roots of the ancient swamp trees. Airn Aizle was a decently sized pack, known for taking in many travelling wolves around the area. The packs Alpha, Vi greeted him and ensured he had everything he needed to rest and regain the strength he'd lost travelling the land. While staying with the pack, he developed a close relationship with two of the other travelling wolves lodging with him. Sandy had many travelling stories and Kir had some fascinating stories about the lights that led him to the pack in the first place. As much as Shine enjoyed their company, and the food he receieved freely from the pack, the urge for adventure eventually overtook him once more, and he continued on his way.
