Viridian 💙

From the start, Viridian was set to be sent away to a different pack. He didn't want this, as he has no choice as to where to go. Learning from the traveler wolves already in his pack, he decided he would try it too.

When he was going to be sent away the coming morning, he set out on his own. He knew convincing his own family to stay would get no results, so he left behind a note made by leaf and charcoal, telling his mother and littermates of the adventure he's partaking in, and that he would come back after 5 years in case they've changed their mind.

While hard to accept it, he knew he was needed elsewhere.

*Lore Added ( What did he do in your pack?) : While in the Mare Stellaris pack, Viridian went out with the hunting teams, learning how to effectively stalk his prey and finding trails for the chasers to follow. Following under the guidance of the Astral Fire team, he felt he learned a great deal. However the itch to move on made his paws twitch and he soon bid the pack farewell and left, moving to his next destination.

*Lore Added ( What did he do in your pack?) : Viridian stumbled across the Thornheart pack after wandering through the Dreamlands.

He soon made himself at home, however -- as the Thornhearts were very friendly and welcoming, and immediately put him to work to continue his training as a stalker. He spent most of this time training under the watchful eye of Ravenlight, who showed him some of his techniques -- how to step lightly, keep in the shadows, and helped him learn how to keep so still, Viridian could even hide in plain sight.

Viridian also felt himself growing especially fond of a young pup named Starfinder, who seemed to look up to him almost like a mentor, and would often trot along after him, begging Viridian to teach her some of his stalking techniques.

However, as Viridian was reaching the end of his first year, he soon found wanderlust stirring at his footsteps once more. He bid farewell to the Thornheart pack, and set back out into the wilds in search of new adventure.

*Lore Added ( What did he do in your pack?) : The next pack Viridian encountered on his travels were the Wolves of Nemos, who welcomed him to their home. They weren't in need of a hunter at that time, but they allowed Viridian to watch over their young, play with them and teach them. Since he had reached the pack in deepest winter, when everything was covered in snow and the days were only slightly warmer than the long, freezing nights, he didn't mind to stay at the warm den. But as spring was closing in, he grew restless again and set off to continue his journey.

*Lore Added ( What did he do in your pack?) : Viridian spent plenty of time aiding the Kingdom of Light's hunting parties, joining a new group to help them learn the ropes, as well as filling the position of stalker while their pack numbers are low. He was essential to the spring thaw hunting trips this year. Jeremiah, the pack's leader at the time, has invited him back for the years to come, and hopes he will be alive to see him again. They had formed a close bond during Viridian's time in the grasslands, often exploring the nearby territories together.
To show his appreciation, Jeremiah gifted Viridian his Celtic Cloak [black], to help him keep warm as well as remember the good times they had.

*Lore Added (What did he do in your pack?) : Once again, Viridian was on the move. However, this time he came across a young, new pack that went by the name of Dewfern. Even with his experience as a hunter, he soon fell into the role of scout. His speed and knowledge of traveling and surviving on his own aided him during his time with the Dewfern pack. However, his instincts to stay on the move and his will to travel soon led to him leaving Dewfern. Even so, he enjoyed his time with the members and often went side by side with another pack scout, Remus, who -despite his time consuming career- was a dedicated father and often took in orphans and raised them alongside his own. Over time, the two wolves soon grew together to form an almost brotherly bond.
