No, literally.

For the longest time, I'd had two eyes, just like the rest of you. But Exodus took hold of the reaper spot, and now here I am, the pack's "medium".

What am I supposed to do?

Okay, I guess it could be worse.

I'm supposed to read into the minds of packmates' dead relatives and friends. Tell them how they're doing, and the like.

I guess that's not too bad…

But… who's going to teach me?! I can't just teach myself, that's almost an impossible practice!

Exodus sure as hell isn't. His job is the exact opposite of mine!

Vanasha? No… Aether? No…

There's got to be someone else.

But that's when Aujak came up to me.
"I can teach you," he said, "I have a little bit of knowledge on this whole medium thing."

I don't know where he got it, but hey, I guess it's better than nothing!

He sat down with me for months, trying to teach me the ropes. I'd been given this spirit medium role forever ago—the moment I got my third eye—but I had no idea what I was doing, so I couldn't help anyone! I felt so bad, everyone was coming to me and asking how their parents were doing, but I just couldn't help them…

I always told them to "come back some other time". I felt a little guilty, but Aujak assured me that he'd let everyone know that I am officially learning this job. Apparently, according to Vanasha and her daughter Ourea, it's very important to the pack.

Sure…

But this last year, Aujak passed away.
He had supposedly taught me everything I needed, but I just wish he was still here to offer advice when I needed it.

Exodus says he'll be back. Just like how Kyran was revived, he will ask me to revive Aujak too once the time is right.

Seyka didn't beg for him to live like Yarra did with Kyran.

It's a little odd. They were very close, those two. I wonder if she knew something I didn't.

I guess I'll have to do a reding to find out about that.

But for now, I guess I can easily say I am the Official Sunhawk Medium.

Artemis is a bit mysterious. All the other wolves in the pack thought she was kind of strange, from her glowing eyes to the abnormal amount of puppies she always seemed to be with. Sometimes, though, she offers the pups cookies and is overall pretty well-respected by the pack.

Artemis's third eye is often mistaken as just decor, or is presumed as the only eye, due to her other two eyes being an entirely different color!

Artemis' third eye is normally closed; most wolves don't even know she has it. But when she communicates with entities beyond the mortal plain—it opens—a fierce and vibrant color which can stun any onlookers whose gaze fall on it.
