THE FOUNDING OF THE BLOOMING PINNACLES
The mountains are not a forgiving place. The fierce winds and harsh cold can make any wolf weary- drive them away. Yet Marigold was not afraid. In the mountaintops she traveled, her brilliant, long fur keeping her warm in the snow-capped mountains. She had been traveling for weeks until she stumbled upon a wonderful sight.
The mountain range was filled with many mountaintops and summits, yet nothing could compare to this.
Several jagged, pointed stones stood over a wide valley-like clearing nestled by two towering mountains on either side. A river flowed through, cascading through the small valley and making a path down to the base of the mountains, towards the real valley. This small crevice in the mountain range wouldn't have normally been special, but there was something very unique about this place.
Instead of a barren, rocky or snowy surface that one might think would be here at the mountains, the clearing was situated in a grassy area, flowers blooming around every edge. There were rocks scattered around. Marigold found this as the perfect place to call home.
For a long while, Marigold spent a while creating dens and homes for her new pack in the making, and things were rough. The boulders were hard to move alone, and it was tricky to keep things in place and also move other things at the same time. She had only finished one den within the span of a week and a half, and she was growing tired of so much stress and work put onto her, when she met another wolf who stumbled upon the clearing.
The wolf's name was Lumikki, a white and grey wolf with pale blue hints in her fur and bright blue eyes similar to Marigold's. She offered her help in founding Marigold's pack, and helped her finish another den. Grateful for Lumikki's help, Marigold offered her a place in her brand new pack, as her companion and helper. Lumikki agreed, and together they named the pack the Pack of the Blooming Pinnacles.
Lumikki taught a lot of things to Marigold, as well as her knowledge about the stars. The stars were ancient beings watching down on all of the wolves throughout the lands. They are often known in silence and oblivion, however Lumikki has been told the story many times. Marigold believed her, and she now tells all of her newcomers about the legend of the stars.
