Daughter of Beechminder, and littermate to Hawkrunner. Dawnstriker is known to be abrasive and controlling, and seems to rub many wolves the wrong way. She is a know-it-all, and seems to always test the limits of those ranked above her. She believes that rules are more guidelines, and will not hesitate to break them if she wants to.
Despite this rather hostile and infuriating attitude, Dawn does have her strengths- depending on the situation, she may be right about how to do things, and her take-charge attitude can be useful in crisis situations. If you do manage to earn her respect, she can be incredibly steadfast and loyal, although having no compunctions about telling you off if she thinks you’ve made a mistake. She also doesn’t hesitate to do what she thinks needs to be done, and when pointed in the right direction, can be very effective in getting results.
She, like her sister, father, and uncle, were involved in a potential coup within her pack. When the plan was discovered, she was set to be killed, before her sister’s lover managed to help them escape. Owing her life to Sky (and, grudgingly, to Mist), Dawn has stuck with her family, but will be pushing her new lead wolf to her limits.
