How Winston and Grim met

Winston groaned as she carefully got up from the ground, her limbs ached as she moved. Her head was also bleeding as she let out a whine. How could the humans leave her down here? She didn't mean to lose the prey on the hunt. She carefully clawed at the walls in the hole to find some that will help her out.
When she finally found some rocks that'll help her she climbed, When she almost fell again something pulled her out carefully by her scruff, When she looked up she saw a big black dog with a long claw mark that stretched from his eye to his chest and damaged ears followed by others and a name tag with the name 'Kel' "Th-thanks." Winston muttered intimidated by the large male.
Kel nodded. "Of course, we'd never leave each other behind.." "unlike someone.." Another dog huffed. Kel examined Winston's injuries carefully. "We can help you. Stella here knows how to fix your wounds~" He hums as he helps the small dog stand allowing her to use his side for support.
A golden dog who she could only assume is Stella came over and examined his wounds. "You'll live!" She yapped happily as Kel came back to check. He then laid a rabbit in front of Winston. "You know..we could use you're help. You seem to be a mixed breed but I can tell that's you were bred to be an excellent tracker." Kel started as Winston ate, slowly listening. "I just think I'll need a favor.."
A few days later
When her injuries healed she awaited Kel's orders patiently. She closed her eyes and thought about what the black canine said "There's this she dog that had committed a crime a few months ago..I need you to find her and bring her back dead or alive…". Her thoughts were interrupted as Kel and his mate Stella approached. "When you find her you need to report to us. We have some dogs standing by patrolling but wolves seem to dislike us a lot." Kel explained as they came close to the border away from their abandoned cabin base.
"Be safe! She may be weak but she's smart.." Kel muttered as Winston nodded and went off on her travels. After a few days of traveling she took shelter in a small dug up burrow big enough for her. When she awoke she was faced with what she thought was a wolf. "Trespassing? How dare you?!" She was then tackled and pinned to the ground harshly almost knocking the wind out of her. When she looked up she noticed the 'wolf' that attacked her fit the description of who she was sent to look for.
"Wait! I want to join you!" Winston exclaimed before she could swiftly finish her. She glared at her. "Why Are you interested in joining? Shouldn't you be hunting with your humans…?" She growled. "W-well..I.." She started struggling to come up with an excuse when She started examining the smaller she dog. "I suppose you could be of use.." she muttered.
Before she could say anything one of what she assumed was her wolves came up. "Alpha..! An intruder found his way in and is demanding to see you.." He muttered. Grim growled and glared at Winston one last time. "Yea..you WILL be useful…as my shield and body guard.." she muttered before getting off and aggressively pushing her back towards their territory.
She looked back at the hidden dogs and gave a little nod signaling they return to Kel. As they approached the territory she stood in disbelief seeing all the wolves under a [retired] hunting dog's control as they stared at her intently 'This is gonna be challenging' she thought as she officially joined the pack.
