Thánatos

The twins came from an ill fated litter, the pups born other than the twins were weak and dying. Both grew fast, opening their eyes early, and walking far earlier than any pups the pack have seen. It was strange, as they grew faster their brothers and sisters grew more frail. Soon the only pups left of the litter we're them. They were named Thánatos and Zoi Líptis. Their names turned out to mean death, and life taker. Their mother was heartbroken at the lost of most of her litter. She grew distance from her own pups, feeling as if they had taken the lives of her beautiful litter. They seemed disturbingly insensitive about the deaths of their siblings, often talking amongst themselves that maybe their siblings were supposed to die. Marshmello was haunted by losing her litter in such a way. She neglected eating, and couldn't focus during hunts. Abigail couldn't help but have her attention taken to the pups that seemed to thrived while the others failed to. The pups themselves were strange. They only seemed interested in each other, they only talked to each other. It reminded Abigail of Serpent. A wolf carrying part of the pack curse within his body. Could this be a new development? The thought that pains Abigail is that if more identical twins are born will this scenario continue to happen.
