-As a pup he Doesn't understand why the pack treats him differently from his siblings, but feels bitter about it
-When he gets older he witnesses King and Cleo try to take over the pack, and realizes that he's not going to let the unfair hand he'd been traded define him
-Desperate for love, he found a female traveler outside of the pack and spent a few months with her before she moves on. The day before she left she left two pups with him and disappeared
