Castor:Elder twin, Traveler, Truth Seeker

In a pack surrounded by odd happenings, led by a wolf who was believed to be somehow cryptid, perhaps even a changeling, no sign was overlooked, no blessing or omen taken for granted. As such, the birth of twins, true twins, was an occasion for great celebration. While their sire was young still, and an enigma himself, this would be the last litter born to their mother, who had lived long enough to remember their cryptid lead as a pup, and his golden mother who led before him. Aesthetic Nightmare visited the newborn twins himself, and brought with him strange magic to bless them further. With a press of his snout to each tiny back, and the fan of warm breath over fur, each twin was transformed, new color rippling through their fur. Identical no longer, their diverging fates were revealed. The younger, Pollux, would stay to serve the pack, while the elder, Castor, would travel far in the search for the truth none of them had dared question before. What had changed their pack into what it was? What had invited unknown forces to settle into the very bones and fur of previously typical wolves, forever marking bloodlines for generations to come?

Lore: From odd eyes to large fangs, manes and antlers, to even a wolf with wings! It seems Castor has found a pack with some answers. This "Northward Shores" had a lot of odd occurrences among their members. Not as much as his own, but enough to be noticeable. He would have to dig deeper if he wanted to know what these wolves were about. Thankfully, most of those he met seemed quite happy to share. It did not take a lot to reveal the wolves were changed by what they called "The Monstrous Event." Castor identified their stories to be linked to the cryptids. The only problem is that they did not have an answer as to why they changed. It simply happened. According to them, after the cataclysms stopped, their pups too stopped being born with oddities. Everything else unnatural was chalked up to occurrences that could not be explained. It looked like this pack was as lost and confused as he was. Once managing to learn everything he could, Castor thanked the Northward Shores for the information provided. He may have not gotten the exact answers he was looking for, but it was valuable knowledge nonetheless. This is certainly a place to come back to if his future endeavours come up fruitless.
