Hema was befriended by Pack Leader Vixen and brought into the Nightglow Pack. At the time, half the hunters were pregnant and unable to participate in hunts, so they were in desperate need of hunters. She stepped up to the plate and joined the two remaining inexperienced hunters in Setout.

With the return of all the hunters, there was a bit of an adjustment period. But they took the time to get to know each other and put effort into their working relationship, they even began to train apprentices.
She briefly had to take a break as she had developed heatstroke, luckily Herbalist Dusty already had a treatment ready so she was soon back in action.

After the formation of the new hunting party, Journey, there was some shuffling of the groups. Hema remained on Setout, and brothers Triton and Neptune were brought in. She found herself looking forward to seeing Neptune every day, it was revealed that he felt the same and they became mates.
