”Huh?” Wasp That Stings Badger’s ears perked as he heard the sound of paw-steps approaching the Wounded Ledge. His tail stilled, debating on who it could be. The steps seemed far too light for his mentor, Herbert. Did this mean someone was injured? He hoped not, that would mean he wasn’t doing his job well. The gray furred male slunk quietly to the cliff portion of his den. His ears pinned back slightly seeing [Insert Lead Wolf Here], a wolf he was not familiar with. Could this be an attack?
”What do you want?” He growled lowly, claws scraping against the stone in warning. “Did Stoneteller direct you here?” His gaze darted to the caverns below as he watched his tribe-mates mingle freely. No one was panicking, so this wolf had to have had Stoneteller’s permission to be here. He forced his bristling fur to lie flat. Of course he ruined tribal relationships with a new leader. He wouldn’t be surprised if he started a war. “My apologies, you must be injured... Allow me to look you over. Believe it or not, I actually have quite the experience with caring for my tribe.”
