Biography
Named for his sharp eyes, Hawk along with 3 other male pups and a single female was born to two dispersals who had not yet found a home. His parents had tried to rise him and his siblings as best as they could but soon all three of his brothers died. The first to go was Spirit, eaten by a bear. Second was Canyon, Ironically, he fell down the every thing he was named after. They tried to search for his body, but they only found cougars. Last was Amigo, Hawk never did understand him with the way he was so friendly to everyone or his name, he recalled his father saying something about humans calling other in their pack that. But what happened to Amigo or their mother who went out to go find him will always be an undying question in the back of his mind and his nightmares are often fill with the possibilities, the horrible possibilities.
All he had left was, his sister, Rain and his father, who was basically useless and would just wonder with no detraction, sense of Danger or acknowledgment that two of his children were still alive. Too many times had he woken up Hawk trying to convince him that his mother and Amigo was alive and just a few steps away. Honestly, Hawk wouldn't have cared as much if it hadn't affected his sister as well. She was hungry, tried and would believe him every time, waking up and trying to have hope in a useless dream that would never come true.
So, Hawk learned to hunt, to fight on his own claiming a small piece of the forest for them with great hunting grounds, to be the shoulder she could lay against whenever she needed and although he resented his father for having to make him do these things with any offer to help form him, he protected him, fought for him when he wondered too far into other territories, feed him something when he was hungry. It wasn't much but as far as Hawk was concerned; he should put his energy into raising his sister into a respectable wolf instead of wasting his time on someone he considered to be too far gone. Keeping him alive more for his sister's happiness than anything else. That's all that mattered to him, on the late nights, when he was tired, hungry and near death in battle, he stayed for his sister, teaching her, keeping her safe and happy, that's what life meant.
Then it started, Rain got sick. Hawk tried as best as he could to help her get better, but he didn't have what it took. Even Went to the surrounding packs and begged for their help, put his head to the promise he would do anything as long as they saved her. Many of which jumped at the idea for the strong wolf to join their pack but none of the herbalists had heard or seen of anything like what Rain was going through. Without much other choice Hawk went to search for the bears, who were said to be very skilled in medicine. The Bears agreed to help in exchange for his territory, Hawk agreed in a heartbeat, he didn't care what he had to do if he meant the end result would be his sister living a peaceful life, finding someone to start a family with and living long than him he would fight all the world's wolves, bears, cougars whatever he had to.
Hawk lead the medicine bear to Rain, but it was too late. It wasn't the sickness that killed her though. As Hawk stepped into the clearing he had left his sister into rest, he found his father blood running down his chin, staining his teeth standing over his dear sister her throat ripped out.
Hawk was paralyzed his sister, Rain wasn't moving, quickly the medicine bear move toward Rain, his father backing up clearly scared. Hawk's heart was pounding in his ears, memories of him and Rain, playing, hunting, and sleeping next to one another flashed before his eyes slowly getting darker. He began to smile worried turning to his father, "THIS IS A PRANK RIGHT?" He practically yelled then looked at the medicine bear "She alive right?" A look of sympathy was his answer. " I'm sorry for you loss, I'm not sure of you costumes but as someone who has heard of how hard you fought for your sister, I will pray to any gods willing to listen that she lives a afterlife befitting of your dreams for her. I know when my presence will not be of help. I'll excuse myslef" They bowed thier head and left.
Hawk slowly walked toward Rain's body, put a single paw on her once shining coat now dusty and soaked with sticky deep red.
"So what did you bring for dinner"
