~Renel's Heart~
A Dark colored wolf adolescent pup ran out with his lighter grey brother, running and yipping in playful tones while their father looked on. Another smaller, younger pup the color of a stormy sky watched them in play, yearning to join them. He thought to himself, They wouldn't wanna play with me, I'm far too little and they are princes! He sighed and lay down, head between his paws, when suddenly, the first pup looked towards him. Renel blushed and quickly sat up, trying to make it seem as if he wasn't just staring at the princes.
"Hey, Renel!" Renel spun around in shock. Who just called my name?? He then realized that it had been one of the princes! The darker pup, named Prince Valor looked at Renel expectantly. Renel stuttered, "Yes,my prince?" Oh barking at Artemis, what did I just say? The adolescent laughed gently and shared looks with his brother. "You know, you don't have to call me that. Just call me Valor!" Renel nodded furiously, only giving Valor and his brother more reason to laugh.
Valor wagged his tail enthusiastically,"Come play with us Renel!" Renel's tail wagged as he clumsily jumped up and scurried on over to the royal brothers. "Quick question, how did you know my name? I'm not even from your pack.." Renel muttered the last bit, mostly out of shame. Valor tilted his head in confusion. "So what? You're now a part of our pack! Of course I should know your name!" Renel blushed yet again, but this time he was thoughtful too. He realized that maybe prince Valor wasn't like the other princes. Valor growing impatient, nipped Renel's ear making him yelp. "Come on! We don't have all Light!"
