Foehn found Astrid alone while he was exploring the forest, Astrid seemed wary of him and looked to be in a poor condition. Foehn was worried and introduced himself to her, he asked if she needed help or food and begged her to allow The Ethereal Howlers herbalist to look at her and to take a fresh meal. He would not force her to join their pack, but he wanted to ensure she was healthy and had food. Astrid agreed and followed behind hyper-aware of her surroundings. Herb looked at Astrid and determined she had mange, so she had to wait until he could make the cure. While waiting she talked with Freya, Herb's assistant, and started opening up, as promised Foehn returned with fresh meat. After she was healed, Astrid asked Foehn if there was a place for her to join the pack, of course he agreed, and she became a pup sitter.
