Ghost was Aspen's companion for a good month as she search for a good territory, one with rich hunting and plentiful herbs and spacious cave, to call home.
He had been abandoned by his birth pack long before he knew what it meant to survive because he could not speak or howl or bark. He was found as a puppy by that motherly bear he never quite learnt the name of, and was taken care of until he turned adolescent.
He knew he would have to leave, just as he knew others before him had left and others after him would leave too, but the world is large for one lonely mute wolf. Luckily Tala found him soon after, and taught him the way of starting a pack, assuming he was another adventure coming to these lands searching for that prosperity not many would achieve.
Before he knew it, he was travelling with Aspen, tentative, careful, kind Aspen who learnt so quickly how to interpret his silences and body language.
When the pack finally established itself, and Aspen seemed to need less of his help, worried by abandonment and spurred on by fear, he offered her a pairbonding. To his surprise Aspen revealed she was preparing the same thing, and they became the second pairbonded in the pack.
Due to his fair nature, Aspen pronounced him The High Judge once the pack got large enough to harbour more wolves than just a simple family to resolve conflicts and remedy arguments.
