Inun felt that he was almost ready to try a real hunt and begged Heath to let him. She listened and explained that no matter how talented a pup may be, everyone had to train until they were old enough to move on.
A cluster of rodent burrows was a great practice zone for today's class. Inun was able to stalk a mouse or two, but instead of killing it, Heath instructed him to let it go after presenting it.
Inun pounced on the birds after he successfully lured them to come closer. Catching them was more important than chasing when it came to birds, and it was the best reward for such a long wait.
Inun asks if they can come along on one of your exploring ventures one day. Two wolves are better at exploring than one!
