Winter (A)

Winter looked up in admiration to Junco, the packs new traveling wolf. He had always wanted to be a scout but now? He pledged to become a Traveling Wolf.As the months passed by Winter continued his scout training, building up courage to ask his mother. He felt bad wanting to leave, as the only heir to the leader. His mother would be so upset, especially after losing his brother Randexter. However he knew this was where he wanted to be. With a nervous knot in his belly, he went to go talk to his mother. She looked surprised and maybe even a little hurt but nonetheless accepted it. As he said his goodbyes, Winter was surprised yet again, this time by Ghosu. "I want to come too!" He smiled, his childhood best friend never let him down, and a small bit of affection grew for her. As the pair made their way outside of Chilling Packs territory, he knew this is where his heart belonged.

Lore: Getting turned around he suddenly felt like he was being watched. He looked to his companion she looked at him asking whats wrong? He shook chill running down his spine looking up through trees seeing clear night sky. He said lets keep going trying to not alert his friend of a possible danger. Hearing couple of wolves talking he motioned Ghosu to stay quiet. She looked tab bit irritated. They heard brown male wolf with eeri red eyes say Wraith if you so step out of line again I'll throw you in the river let your life get drained he growled. This Wraith wolf he growled back they got into a fight.

Rustling his heard behind them he thinks he senses the same death stare has before like their prey. He dared not say or do anything for the two in front then stranger in back. Ghosu hears it yells who are you? He felt prickly feeling and has the two stopped fighting came behind them he turned to face them. Wraith smirks saying looks like the pups know their in the wrong territory they circled them. The brown wolf growled I don't have time for these games he snarls out but who are you young ones and what brings you here? Winter looked at Ghosu he stood taller before saying I'm Winter and I'm alphas son this is my dear friend Ghosu she glared at them in defiance. Winter turned quickly telling Ghosu to run. So they ran both gave chance. He became confused.

He went further into the packs territory without realizing it the brown wolf jumps him pinning him. He says for alphas pup you sure run I could understand I am great grandson of our Alpha Covolt. He struggled in his grip till he saw antlers caribou tosses this wolf. He turns growling you dare betray me you spirit the caribou stalked toward him putting its antlers down in ramming threat. The brown wolf lost interest and left. The caribou motions him to follow it so he did. He sees Ghosu but she was cornered by Wraith and two eeri looking female wolves he runs towards them Wraith turns and says girls take care of this one I'll finish job Oni left. He stalked toward him. He hears the caribou charge it rammed into all three taking them by surprise. They all ran away from it.

The caribou motions them to follow lead them across burial grounds. Then forest the forest smelled of blood. A blondess cream wolf walks out he had demonic red eyes he blocked Ghosu protectiveily. The caribou and wolf looked at one another and the male wolf walks up to them. The caribou fades away like ghost and no smell remains of it. The wolf says I'm Tor I'll lead you he didn't sense any ill will from him. They followed him through the forest to fast flowing river with log bring. He sensed those eyes from before and looked up seeing Raven it didn't look right. Tor noticed looked up they stared at each other the raven soon flew off. Tor pointed across log saying I wish you two well on your journey let only light guide your way. They walked across they heard echo of Tor's voice say you shouldn't be here with the damned. They looked back seeing no one leaving abit chilled.

Lore: Winter followed Ghosu's path and at the border of another pack, they were introduced to the Sunspire Pack from their healer, Måns. The strange glowing orbs around his legs captured Winter's attention, but there was little time to chat. The pack was suffering from the tight, long tendrils of winter. Prey was running low and Winter was quickly put to use. Exploring was his favorite task or listening to the mentors as they trained pups. Despite their openness, Winter knew they couldn't stay; it would be extra mouths to feed and he wasn't as experienced as his traveling partner. They departed on good terms, even though Winter would miss their friendly encounters.

Lore: Winter and Ghosu arrived to Snow Hearts a little scruffy, but that was quickly solved once they made their needs known to Void Junior and company. They stayed through spring, scouting the Riparian Woodland and even sighting an alligator! They swiftly warned the pack, whom rewarded Winter and Ghosu with a trip to the land of glaciers. Winter appreciated the trip more than Ghosu, given his namesake. As summer approached, they decided it was time to move on.

Lore: With a small smile curling his lips, Winter sniffs the tell-tale scent of a welcoming pack. If you don't have bad intentions, come to us, it's safe, we'll welcome you. He shares a look with Ghosu and cheekily bumps her shoulder before darting away with a joyful yap. Behind him he hears a light growl and grins.
After a few hours of running in the snow and cold air of winter, they both approach the pack's residence. He hears Ghosu howl to announce their presence, and soon joins her. We come in peace, we're Travelers searching for a temporary home.
Soon, they hear the leader's link answer, Come, we have space and food for you.
This time, it's Ghosu who naps at his ear before speeding towards the howl.
When meal time come, their surprise to find 4 other Traveling wolves hosted in the pack. They ask Brume, the leader, why so much Travelers are here. "We wish for this pack to be a temporary home for all Travelers." She nods, and they promise to spread the word. The Moonlight Lull Pack will welcome Travelers.
After a few Spring moons, the duo decides to leaves the Moonlight Lull Pack to continue their adventures. But before they go, the leader walks to them and gives them the benediction of the moon. "Like this, your Travels will be made under Moon's watch."
