Watseka

"Hi! My name's Watseka! It's nice to make your acquaintance."

This petit female approaches you and dips her snout politely. She looks up at you with golden eyes reminiscent of the leader's mate, Ambrose, but with infinitely more kindness and respect. You recognize this wolf as a granddaughter of the lead pair -- the pup of Aqissiaq and a female of an allied pack. She turns around and gestures toward a group of other wolves, and offers to introduce you.

Watseka was born in Wapiti Run to Sissewa, a calm and diplomatic female. Sissewa was one of the wolves that accompanied the diplomatic entourage of The Wolves of Wapiti Run during their visits to Shenandoah. Over time, Sissewa and Aqissiaq, one of the Lead Wolf's sons, grew close. Watseka was the result of their union, and the pup was brought to Shenandoah and given a choice of where she wanted to live. While she chose the mountains, her father and other family members frequently brought her to visit her mother and birth pack down in Wapiti Run.

Watseka was a confident and happy pup from the beginning, and she was inspired by her mother's position as a peacekeeper. Whenever she could, she tried to emulate her mother's behavior, negotiating peace between her fellow pups whenever they quarreled. This was a boon to Cuckoo in  particular, as her friendly disposition cooled the tempers of those who were cruel to him due to his awkwardness and his parentage. 

Her grandfather, Ambrose, became one of her closest friends early on; he doted upon her, and Aqissiaq was always quick to point out that they looked very much alike. Watseka is proud whenever she looks down into the glassy surface of the lake and sees a blend of her grandfather and her mother, topped off by her father's large ears. 

Please Note: For roleplay and lore purposes, the wolf referred to as this pup's father is Aqissiaq. The actual in-game stud responsible for this pup's genetic makeup is Dioute.
