First visit to her fathers pack, they all traveled with dad, excited by the new surrounds but nervous about being away from mom. Tojo had the hardest time, and she comforted him frequently during the trip. Auri's first view of the glacier lands had her in awe! She got to meet her older half siblings and a great time learning about them all and snuggling with dad. She isn't sure what to make of Rhea but loves Kona and Saga.

With the colder months coming on, she is excited to return to the desert and her mother. She has so many things to share with her and her friends. Enjoyed seeing her baby cousins and was overjoyed to receive her gift from dad. Had a little play tussle with Kona and Saga before they left. She's going to tell mom all about her new favorite food - Seal! She wonders if she can find something like it in the desert?

Probably the first thing she did when coming back home, after saying hello to friends and family, was barge in her mother's bedding and ask about that seal thing. Kiara chuckled, said she'd never heard of it but would see what she could do. That satisfied Auri… for now.

She was enjoying her time back in the desert quite a bit, she fell perfectly in line with the Chasers, feeling quite special when her big sister Arra showed her a few moves. She really ended up bonding a lot with Arra, and some part of her told her that Arra appreciated it too. Maybe something to do with their brother Quency being off who knows where.

After a few days of witnessing tension grow between Arema and Hestia, Auri confronted Arema personally. Arema snapped at her, leaving Auri stunned. She felt horrible, telling herself she never should have meddled. She couldn't do much after that, she didn't want to bring it up to Hestia because she didn't want a repeat of the same situation. Still, when it was time to leave, Auri tried to catch Arema's eyes, give her some kind of apology or closure, and for a second she almost got it, seeing her friend's aloof gaze soften.

Until one of Arema's mothers, Avalon stopped by to see the three off and congratulate Hestia on her excellent work as a hunting party leader. Arema went back to her faux professionalism. Auri decided to put it out of her mind and said a heartfelt goodbye to everyone, before heading to the glacier once more.

Leaving before obvious issues at home got resolved didn't sit well with her and she felt unsettled… but also looked forward to the Glacier . News of her father's passing didn't make things any easier when she arrived - if anything it made it more real. But still - she had Kona and Saga to distract her. Though she was shocked at big her nieces had gotten, and much Asra looked like dad. She enjoyed playing with them.

Hunting lessons continued as normal and she wasn't as affected by the obvious differences in hierarchy here. She quickly became very close the chaser's of the main team - Echo, Tide and Dusk. The two males were like having silly older brothers and Echo was sassy and a little salty at times. They took her under their wings with enthusiasm though.

Hunting with her siblings was such fun though! And she rejoiced when they managed to take down their first bull elk! She could see what it did for Tojo's self esteem and was so happy for him. Even Hestia seemed to finally relax and enjoy herself. After seeing the grand gifts her siblings got, she did feel a little put out, however. She was happy for them and would drown any bitterness she felt - but Echo and the boys could see it. They assured her that chasers just didn't get the recognition they deserved and instead took her out to the Creek to teach her a new skill - fishing! She quickly learned to love the challenge and after bringing in a huge salmon, the four of them celebrated with their own private feast. Echo helped fashion a little memento of her successful catch, a tail ring crafted from the tail of her salmon. They assured her she was just as an important part of the team even if she didn't get the recognition she felt she deserved. She returned with high spirits, feeling so much a part of something with the other three - her heart was sad to leave them. But seeing the state her brother was in however and quickly learning why, she slipped into sweet sister again, assuring him that it would be okay - a little taken aback by Hestia's rather harsh advice. She sighed, thinking of what awaited them back in the desert. Would things be better? Awkward? Would her siblings be okay? She was growing tired of playing mediator but couldn't help herself. She had to make things better.

When Hestia aroused her early the next morning, saying that Tojo had already left, she felt a pang of resentment- not able to say proper good byes like she wished. But her brother clearly needed them. Making sure her treasured tail ring was intact, they headed home.
