Born to an observant temperament and calm disposition, Rune often was viewed as a lethargic, useless pup. However, as he grew into himself, he displayed exceptional skills in leadership and evaluation. His dam and sire led a small, blood-related pack across the mountains that dwindled to nothing as harsh weather and famine killed off the available prey. Having suffered the hardships of losing his family to starvation and disease, Rune, along with his sister, traversed the land to find a new home. Sadly, on their way, Rune's final littermate succumbed to canine distemper, leaving the wolf alone. Upon encountering Tala, Rune felt hope for the first time since he watched hunger and sickness ravage those around him. Now wiser and older, Rune seeks to form his own pack built on loyalty and family. He will do anything to protect his newly found pack, even if it means losing his own life.
Now, with a small but comfortable new family, Rune experiences sire-hood. His first two pups, Lore and Fyze, grow more and more each cycle, bringing Rune a sense of peace (and fatherly worry) that he has never experienced. Lore and Fyze, upon reaching adolescence, moved on to new packs. Despite the sorrow of watching his first-born pups leave, Rune still looks forward to the growth of the other pups in his pack. For now, he aims to provide them a safe, comfortable puppyhood with full bellies and family.
