Emrys

You walk into a small clearing and pause, taking in the vision around you. Sunlight glistens off of the waxy emerald leaves, casting around an ethereal glow. A babbling brook can be heard gently trickling in the distance, while birds and insects create a soft melody throughout the forest. A sudden hush falls across the clearing, the clearing seems to hold its breath, something is coming. You perk your ears, listening intently, your sharp eyes scanning the clearing around you. You startle slightly when your eyes land on a wolf sitting in front of you, watching you intently with green eyes that glow with an otherworldly magic. He is sitting so still, he looks like a statue carved out of stone. His soft green and brown fur would have blended into the greenery behind him, but rivers of white fur separated the valleys of green and brown, making him look even more ethereal. A soft smirk cracks the stony figure.

"I dreamt you were coming, I've been waiting for you." He says softly, his voice carrying across the clearing like magic. He stands up and turns around, looking back at you with a wink as he disappears into the foliage behind him.
