Melina seems to have all the patience in the world with pups - no matter how they quarrel among themselves or whimper or bite. They tug on her ears, try to wander from her sight or try to eat strange plants. Melina never raises her voice or loses her temper though - she just brings them back into the fold with a serene smile and a wagging tail. Although she tolerates the jokes made my puppies, she herself is an "old soul" with a serious side and she gravitates towards wolves that are more mature minded. When she is not watching over pups she loves to listen to Horu's thrilling stories of the hunt and gets along very well with Savannah.
