   He understood how she was feeling, for it was something he knew all too well. His littermate's awkward stares and adults' disapproving glares; however, Beo and his younger sister Dew, were not of equal standing. Both had indeed felt left out, but Dew wasn't adopted or looked down on, and nowolf dared claim she didn't belong. Their upbringing was quite the opposite, yet the resulting isolation remained identical.

   The little pup nearly lost balance to escape the freezing touch on her ear. "That's cold!" Dew whipped around to nip her brother's nose, too slow to peck that grin off his face. "That's what happens when you got nowolf watching your back; luckily, it's just me." Dew glanced longingly at a far-off group of pups, "the other pups said that their game of tag wouldn't be fun to me, that I should go back to herbalist things." Beo's face was monotone, then he whispered, "I know of some friends that would be happy to include you in their games," he turned to leave. "But I'll get in trouble again; I'm supposed to ask first," Dew whined. Beo didn't look her way, "Have fun counting herbs then." Dew looked back towards the fading pack camp, but only once.

   The two wolves leaped through damp underbrush into an empty, glittering clearing. Dew looked bewildered. If any creatures lived here, their footsteps were unheard over the distant stream. Flowering trees made any scent trace unrecognizable. "It's just me!" Beo's gaze darted wildly. "And I brought my little sister Dew as well." Just then, a slim canine figure slips out from the brush, their fur Autumn-colored. Though before Dew could observe more, two miniature versions stampeded toward her. "Eeep!" Dew yipped as she tumbled to the ground. "Tag your it," said the kits in unison. "No fair," Dew giggled, leaping to her paws to give chase. Beo shouted after her. "Just a warning, the more fox scent you get on your pelt, the longer the river bath!"

Rejected at birth, neglected by adoptive parents, uncared for by packmates. Needless to say, BeoMayhem has a cynical view of the world. Despite his unstable upbringing, he is determined to change things for newer generations, especially his little sister, Medic Dew. Beo has so far accomplished raising his little sister and changing the Notability Badges to include adopted pups. He plans to continue leading pack politics so others can live happier.
