Tassel

Tassel retains the honored distinction of being the first male of distinction in the Sisters of Selene. Tassel was outcast from an aggressive, patriarchal pack where he failed to compete with stronger males.

Two months after his departure from his former pack, he fatefully encountered the founding she-wolves of the Sisters, Kubla and Isli - narrowly saving them from a bobcat attack. Since then, he has taken a role of navigational guidance (since he is local to the mountainous home region of the Sisters) and den caretaking. Effeminate, internal, and seeking a safe, noncompetitive position, this role suits Tassel well, despite the strictly female-dominated social order.

Since joining the Sisters of the Selene, his primary task has been leading scouting missions into adjacent regions - as well as assisting in the act of childrearing and transitioning male pups into the Enclave. As the Concubinus, he performs several domestic duties for the Khatun, such as bathing, grooming, and nestbuilding - as well as reciprocating her passions.
