Isle, as well as her sister Atlas, were readily accepted into the Wandering Spirits Pack. They met many other pups their age, and adults eager to teach them their ways. She was pretty happy with her new life.
Yet something was missing. An odd, crawling feeling that occurred if she stared at the sky too long, or watched the sun rise and set. The wind through her fur, the scent of fresh greens and colors, napping in the sunshine, the morning after a spring rain... all of this and more, reminded her of a memory she hadn't yet experienced.
But she wanted to.
"You've got itchy feet." Her pupsitter said to her.
"What's that?"
"You gotta go out in the world to cure your itchy feet."
