MATE: Epaphus the Unknown

Once, a long time ago, Notus had three brothers. Achilles, the eldest, and his twin, Arcas, had been two years older than the rest. Notus looked up to him as if he had hung the stars in the sky. Achilles was the strongest of them all. Arcas had been the runt of that litter, and he had been the smartest of them all. If Achilles was the brawn, Arcas was the brain. The twins had had more siblings, but they were the only ones who survived to adulthood. They were the first litter their father and mother, Astraios and Eos (i), had ever had.
After the twins, there was Tityos. Found by Astrios, half-starved and abandoned in the mountain range, he was taken into the pack a week before Notus was born. After his birth, the two were inseparable. Though they weren't related by blood, Tityos was his brother through and through.
What happened to his family is... unknown to Notus. He had been sent out on a hunt and when he got back, they were all gone. The loss stung, the feeling of abandonment burned, but he did not let life pass him by. On his travels, he met Boreas. The two grew close quickly, their fates seemingly entwined. Platonic soulmates, the two consider themselves.
