Asha comes from a deeply religious pack, and she still inherits many of their extremist beliefs. She keeps most of them to herself, but among her close allies she passes judgement against those who follow a different way of life than herself. She holds conservative views on the role of breeding in a pack - disdaining those who do or cannot breed as pathetic members of their sex. As such, she has a special hatred for Rook, the prolific pupsitter who also remains abstinent from breeding.
After joining the pack, she made close friends with the leader of her hunting party, Jadwi - and often manipulates the strongheaded and impulsive Jadwi to her own benefit. In the Summer of Year 2, this gossiping manifested in the duel between Jadwi and Rook, which resulted in their respective scars.
