Myrtle slipped into a slightly frozen pond when she was only a few months old. Snowstorm dove in after the pup while her mother was paralyzed with fear and anxiety. Once Myrtle was pulled from the pond we tried to warm her up, but the chill of the pond refused to leave her fur, which is now stained a frozen blue. Although this incident has only helped the young pup who now has very good precision and refused to be found slipping into danger again and her new coat helps her blend into the mountains for better hunting.
