He raised his head when a little pup appeared near his vicinity, " Soon the sun will set before the funsies can go on. Some things must come and go little one." But he said looking it in a more crueller manner and was looking at the negative side. "Mama! Why is he always so mean to me?" The pup whined loudly as it ran off.
The Leader was padding along nearby. "Well sometimes we need you to remind us that some things change, such as whether the sun is up or down, and when the wind ends or comes, next time we might get another pheasant, not to take things for granted," she said good naturedly. "and that the heatwave won't always last." she added. Knowing, that he doesn't like heatwaves. There was no verbal response, unless there was a subtle grunt, unfortunately.
But she's sure his role in the pack is to remind them to not take things for granted, be grateful that you're alive everyday tht you are, and hunt really well on the hunting trip for slacking may lead to no food and you wouldn't want such news to hit you.
