A bright and friendly wolf, she joined the pack as an energetic scout, helping Frozen Ghost discover the terrain around their new home. She met the
dedicated leader of the Anzen pack on one of her many forays, and wound up accidentally carrying pups during the lean months of winter. Her
first puppy wound up terribly small, and she frets over him quite a lot, but her litter of four survived the rough winter with the aid of their growing pack.
Tragically, in an adventurous attempt to be like their mother, the pups managed to slip out of camp one evening as the hunters were coming and going. They were found quickly, but not before the imaginative young
Sandpup took a bad fall. The
pack's herbalist was summoned, but, gentle for once, he was forced to tell the grieving Golden Heart that the pup was long gone. It was a difficult spring. The changed
Frozen Ghost spent a great deal of time with her, sharing his brief experience of the world he'd glimpsed beyond his own death. Her other pups stayed close after that, and she was relieved to watch even the weakest grow into fine young apprentices. She continued her scouting, letting the beauty and wonder of the growing world ease the pain in her heart. There was more beyond the light of the sun, a strange world of dream and spirit where the lost might wait to one day be found, but each wolf should treasure their time in the light.
It was on such a scouting mission that she met the
traveler Lepus. She recognized that broken anger in the wolf's eyes, and gently invited her back to Autumnfall to... rest.
